Are you a fan of Star Wars but feel that there just weren't enough brain-stunningly idiotic names for your taste? Do you like the Lord of the Rings films but find they move too quickly and make too much sense?

Did you enjoy The Matrix but wish it could have contained a horrendously embarrassing performance by former actor/professional picnic ham John Malkovich? Then you need help! That is, then Eragon is the film for you!

Ostensibly about some punk who finds a dragon egg, Eragon is actually a poignant onscreen documentation of the decline of Jeremy Irons, whose eye bags, if there were any justice, would have received third billing. And it's also a showcase for first time actor - um- can't remember his name. Really made no impression one way or the other. (In fact, was he even in the film?)

But mostly it's an opportunity to watch John Malkovich turn in a performance that had to - HAD TO - be a direct challenge to the director, "Please, fire me.I'm begging you to fire me. I'll do a take like this and then you'll have to fire me. Wait,I'm still not fired?"

Kevin Murphy joins Mike in the RiffTrax International Studios (and Small Engine Repair) for Eragon, the blockbuster fantasy epic that forgets to be a blockbuster.

if you synched this yourself PLEASE post the software u used
ive tryed 3 differnt apps and none work well
im on a pc so i hope u dont say imovie
It's pretty easy...
Sony vegas video 8.0 for synching and adjusting volume levels (cut out the intro part of the rifftrax, load the movie, sync following the toaster's lines, adjust the sound volumes (in the left) to your desire, save as mp3), download AVIMux GUI to strip the movie of its original sound and add the mp3 with the combined original track+rifftrax.
However, i am a bit jealous of anna's method :) which, as i've noticed, involved in lowering the movie's sound when mike and the others talk (kinda like in the rifftrax samples)
thanx for the response
i have vegas
when ive done conversions theve been bloated
1.4 gs from a 700 movie file
can u give me some encoding tips
ive been using divx/mp3 but still
Yeah, those kinda things happen when re-encoding... that's why i only use sony for mixing the 2 audio tracks together and saving them as mp3, other than that...i have no use for that program.
I'm not good at encoding tips, i myself tried numerous ways to get good compression and quality, but allas...i've failed. That's why i use that AviMux thing, it keeps the video quality intact, replacing only the audio track.

Ah, one thing...i've misspelled the name, it's Sony Vegas Pro (not Video), my bad...

PS. A good re-encoding program seems to be AllToAvi, but you don't always get lucky :)

And if you're looking for a good dvdripper, i'd recommend AutoGK, it's simple to use and gets you very good dvdrip quality.
thanx for the fast responses i have aviDmux \is that the one it re encodes video perfectly\and ive sinyched top gun in vegas just right i think
haha u found the export as comand under
render as
what a silly place to put it
your not RENDERING anything
and it takes way longer than other software but its the best syncher
next i want to see if i can pause audio tracks in vegas to lip sych while video keps running
i use vegas platinum but its probly just got more useless crap ill never use
how do u edit the riff soundtrack in vegas? i use ANOTHER priogram to chop it but it would save load time if i could do it in vegas
its encoding 15 percent complet man its slow
It doesn't re-encode the video (at least mine doesn't [AVI-Mux_GUI-1.17.7]), that's the beauty of it. It just messes with the audio streams.

Be sure to uncheck the "all audio streams" box and the others if they happen to be checked by default.

You probably noticed this but i'm gonna say it anyway: when you load the movie, press the "generate data source from files" button and the video and audio data will appear in the lower box. Uncheck the movie's audio, add the mp3 u made in sony, repeat the generate data source step and leave it checked, so that only the movie and the mp3 remain available/check
How do i edit the riff soundtrack? Very easy, i just select the portion with the intro up to the moment where mike says "pause" and Delete :)
At leas that's how i do it in my version of vegas, don't know how platinum works.
i have mux now
still at 56 encoding the mp3
if i seed the compete file are u able to keep the torrent alive for a while my cable company already hates me
plus riff fans are good at keeping them alive once a few have it
Encoding that mp3 should run smoothly, unless you have a very old CPU...

And what file are we talking about here, Top Gun?
I alreayd have the riff and the rifftraxed avi so...can't help you there
when i do spiderman 1 i will close everything before encoding the mp3
im going rifftrax shopping to buy all the trax i dont have
u may have top gun synched but ive never seen it as a synched torent
if im happy with it i''ll up it
errm ... am i the only one who got the whole download but the screen is cut off halfway with noise and the rest of it is a jumbled mess? what gives?!?!
Maybe it's because of the codecs you're using. Try VLC Player to see if works, if not...something must've happened during the download.
k, vlc works but mpc does not. i wonder why ...
the video will not play on any of the players i've used--WMP, Divx, Winamp, Quicktime...what gives? On some of them, i acn hear the audio for the movie, but mot the riff...
